Elderly Man with Terminal Cancer Walks Out of Hospice after Treatment with Cannabis Oil

There are many cases that suggest cannabis oil is actually the best solution for treating cancer, in whichever form it may come.

One of those cases is Corinne Malance, daughter of Barb and Stan Rutner, who was thrilled to share her father’s happy-ending story with us:

“After nine months of taking two different forms of cannabis oil, one, a cannabis capsule infused with organic coconut oil around 10:30am and high THC oil about an hour before bed, dad was given the life-changing report, “No evidence of recurrent disease”.”

At the moment, cancer is treated differently in medicine, usually by prescribing heavy drugs and undergoing chemotherapy and radiation. Still, these treatments have a way of weakening the body, unlike cannabis that actually helps the body heal.

Still a little skeptic about the entire cannabis oil effects, people tend to go back to the traditional medicine, losing the battle of life to cancer faster than ever before.

Here is what Dave Mihalovic, a Naturopathic Doctor, and vaccine research specialist, noted about cannabis oil treatment:

“No chemotherapy drug has ever actually cured or resolved the underlying causes of cancer. Even what mainstream medicine considers “successful” chemotherapy treatments are only managing symptoms, usually at the cost of interfering with other precious physiological functions in patients that will cause side effects down the road.”

Chemotherapy might destroy cancerous cells from the body, but at the same time encourages healthy cells to release a protein that makes the reoccurring cancer prone to any medication.

According to various experts in the field, chemotherapy actually stimulates cancer but in all other body parts:

As per Peter Nelson, study co-author of the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center in Seattle, “The scientists found that healthy cells damaged by chemotherapy secreted more of a protein called WNT16B which boosts cancer cell survival. The increase in WNT16B was completely unexpected.”

“WNT16B, when secreted, would interact with nearby tumor cells and cause them to grow, invade, and importantly, resist subsequent therapy. In cancer treatment, tumors often respond well initially, followed by rapid regrowth and then resistance to further chemotherapy,” he continued.

Meet Stan Rutner

80-year-old Stan is a retired dentist who was diagnosed with non-Hodgkin lymphoma more than two decades ago. Aside from him, his wife Barb (77) was also diagnosed with breast cancer twice.

This is what he told us:

”I just thought I had a cold, flu, type thing. That was it . . . I wasn’t thinking cancer at all.”

In 1989, Stan was subjected to severe, six-month standard cancer treatment. Afterwards, the cancer went into remission, which left Stan hopeful.

Then, in 2011, his cancer reoccurred. The first symptom he noticed was an unusual, persistent cough, so when he made a doctor’s appointment, the first diagnosis was pneumonia in its early phase.

After some heavy testing, Stan was once again diagnosed with lung cancer, this time progressed to Stage 4 and spread to the brain.

Stan tells us his doctor said to him:

‘You’re in deep shit.’-

“Yeah, he didn’t sugar coat it at all.”

Stan underwent another modern medical treatment from March to April of 2012. This manifested in many side-effects, including weight loss, persistent nausea, and chronic fatigue.

Barb told us:

“After that, he was wiped out. He was very thin. So we finished radiation to his brain on June 25, and on July 13 he entered the hospital for the first time with radiation pneumonitis (inflammation of the lungs due to radiation therapy), so pneumonia.

There were three hospital visits during that time, and on the third, they kept him for a week and started him on oxygen 24/7. And then he went into palliative care.”

The first medical forecast was giving him only several weeks of life. Stan checked himself into a hospital on August 12, 2011.

Still, his family didn’t let everything happen on its own, so they started looking for unconventional treatments that might help, such as Reiki energy treatments and acupuncture.

Stan agreed to undergo a creative visualization treatment that previously worked for Barbara’s breast cancer. However, nothing worked.

Finally, Stan’s son-in-law, John Malanca, looked into cannabis treatment.

 Barb explained:

“Corinne and John were becoming interested in medicinal marijuana but we were concerned that Stan was wasting away. He had lost so much weight and so we were anxious to get his appetite improved and help him with the nausea.

So Corinne suggested daytime cannabis capsule infused with coconut oil; they’re yellow capsules that he started taking.

He started taking those in early November of 2011 and in the beginning, he took about a third of a capsule in the morning, and it was about a week or two later that he was able to give up the extra oxygen that he had had 24/7.”

Stan was on board with the treatment, having nothing to lose, really.

As he pointed out:

“No hesitation at all. Here I’m dying and getting nothing to change the course of things and so this thing has a pretty good track record in—what do you call it—in a non-medical world, so hey let’s try it. Got nothing to lose.”

And shock of all shocks, in just a couple of weeks, Stan’s condition improved significantly!

The first positive symptoms included improved sleep, weight gain and body endurance. In a short amount of time, Stand threw away his oxygen and was able to exercise and walk on his own!

Barbara told us what happened after Stan decided to check in with the disease progress in a couple of months:

“On January 27, 2013, we received the results of Stan’s brain MRI in an email from his oncologist, stating simply: “IMPRESSION: No evidence of recurrent disease.”

The lung cancer that had metastasized to his brain in the summer of 2011 (and nearly taken his life) was GONE! The doctor calls him a miracle man. We are deeply grateful to his “team” of doctors, friends, and family, but we’ll always believe that cannabis turned the tide.”

Stan even stood proud at his daughter’s wedding day, while she noted:

“Dad never thought that he would make it to that day but low and behold, he continued on the Cannabis Oil and is STILL in remission!”
