Hollywood actor and legend, Morgan freeman deserved its colleagues’ respect for various reasons.

Aside from being a terrific actor and a leading role model in the celebrity world, he is also not afraid to share his opinion on things that matter.

Back in 2003, Morgan Freeman’s popularity skyrocketed a little bit more after he gave an interview in which he clearly remarked “never give up the ganja.”

The Guardian interview in question may have exposed the biggest truth about marijuana the world has been deprived of.

Freeman was not afraid to support the legalization of marijuana and poke out on the matter with confidence and fact-checked statement.

However, Freeman also engaged in an interview with The Daily Beast, in which he pointed out his belief that people need to take this herb as much as possible.

“I’ll eat it, drink it, smoke it, snort it,” he said. “This movement is really a long time coming, and it’s getting legs – longer legs.”

Freeman states that he is not taking marijuana for granted and that it actually serves him as a treatment to keep his energy high and his work ethic on point.

“Marijuana has many useful uses,” he noted. “I have fibromyalgia pain in this arm [caused by a severe car accident in 2008] and the only thing that offers any relief is marijuana.”

He explained, “Kids who have grand mal seizures… they’ve discovered that marijuana eases that down to where these children can have a life. That right there, to me, says ‘legalize it across the board!’”

As far as the marijuana haters are concerned, Freeman had this to say:

“Look at Woodstock 1969,” he exclaimed. “They said, ‘We’re not going to bother them or say anything about smoking marijuana,’ and not one problem or fight. Then look at what happened in ’99.”

It was definitely beneficial to pick the brain of this amazing man and lean what he stands for!

Well said, Mr. Freeman!
